GENERAL RULES
1) This site is PG-13. Please keep it that way for our younger members.
2) There will be no fighting in the threads or in the C-Box. If you have a problem with another member, please try to solve it via PM. If problems continue to arise, please notify one of the staff members (either Tori or Jade) to step in.
In the same respect, if any trolls decide to stop by we will ban without warning. If you do want to join eventually, you'll have some explaining to do.
3) Avatar and Signature images are allowed (and encouraged) on this forum, but please resize them so they don't take up the whole page (150x150 max for avatars and 450x450 max for signatures). Use your own discretion. If the window needs to scroll horizontally to accomodate your pictures, they're too big. If you're still not sure, ask a staff member. This isn't only for viewing purposes, but also to keep the site running smoothly.
CHARACTER ACTIVITY
I understand that some of us are very busy and I want to accommodate. Please PM a staff member to discuss your situation in relation to the following rules. Unless a staff member makes an exception, these are the rules to follow.
1) Major canon characters (this mean series regulars) must post at least 2 replies a week. If you are inactive for over 1 month without notice and someone else would like to apply for your character, your canon will be taken away.
NOTE: Logging in once a month will not save your canon. You must be posting replies to your threads. If your characters has been taken away but no one has applied for him/her by the time you return, resume posting and we'll give you your canon back.
2) Original characters and minor canons must post at least 1 reply a week.
3) If you will be away, please post a message in the Away Messages board to give the other members a heads up. No canons should be away for more than 1 month.
4) Thank you for taking the time to read our rules. You'll find that the character application is embedded into the "New Topic" button in the Pending Applications board. If you click "New Topic", it will be waiting for you.
ROLEPLAY RULES
1) You may not post another character's reaction or actions without their consent. This is called God Modding or G-Modding. You may only control your own characters.
2) Mentions of a canon (ex: I remember when Tori did this...) are allowed as long as it happened on the show. Any mentions otherwise should have permission by the character. This also goes for original characters.
3) If you are creating a thread, mark it either open or closed. Open threads allow other members to join while closed threads are invite-only. If a thread isn't marked, assume it's closed (you can PM the thread starter to be sure if you're really interested).
4) There isn't a paragraph limit here. You'll notice that some members are really into speed posting and others like to write longer threads. If someone is posting longer threads, please try to match their effort or let them know you like writing shorter posts. This is to help members replying have more material to respond to.
5) We do not tolerate plagiarism here. Any members stealing posts, graphics, videos, or any original content from iAm Victorious that has not been released by it's creator will be banned from the site permanently. Likewise if content is posted here and stolen from another site.
